So, I'm giving this lesson tomorrow, and have had an interesting time trying to figure out how to present it. I've decided to go with Nicodemeus - Samaritan woman and the Centurion, and compare and contrast them with our lives and the three reasons that I basically come to church.
3 challenges -
o 1. Things I want to do, but don't.
o 2. Constant inner dialogue.
o 3. Things I don't want to do, but do
Faith - I've gained through Experiences can help me motivate to DO what I want to do. -
Repentance - Can be a TOOL to Stop doing things I don't want to do
Keeping Covenants - Can give me the Knowledge to help me choose which of the Inner Dialogue is really Living Water, and not temporal water left by the wayside
